P4G Call for Partnerships
This is an opportunity for startup partnerships to receive an average grant funding of US $350,000 and technical assistance to help the early-stage business become investment ready. Applications need to be submitted by Sunday, September 8, 2024, to be considered for Round 3 funding. Partnerships must comprise at least one early-stage business and one nonprofit partner implementing in one of P4G's ODA-eligible partner countries: Colombia, Ethiopia, Indonesia, Kenya, South Africa, and Vietnam. Applicants must provide services or products in one of the following sub-sectors: climate-smart agriculture, food loss and waste, water resilience, zero emission mobility and renewable energy.

Pioneering Green Partnerships
Indobamboo Lestari - Bamboo Village Trust We’re proud to share that Indobamboo Lestari - Bamboo Village Trust in Indonesia has been selected as a P4G partnership. The partnership will scale the commercial use of bamboo-based carbon negative building materials, while supporting rural landscape partners manage and restore degraded landscapes through bamboo.
Kaloola – BORDA Kaloola – BORDA hosted its 10th Sanitation Breakfast Seminar under the theme "Water Action Decade: Towards Achieving SDG 6 by 2030." Set against the backdrop of the United Nations’ Water Action Decade, the seminar provided a platform for stakeholders from water utilities, academia, private sectors and nonprofit organizations to discuss the gaps, opportunities and innovations within South Africa’s water and sanitation sector. This diverse mix of participants enabled a thorough discussion on overcoming the barriers that hinder progress towards achieving SDG 6. The seminar concluded with a comprehensive report and a commitment to continued collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Sun Run - Sustainable Transport Africa Sun Run - Sustainable Transport Africa is expanding its operations into Homabay county, Kenya. Sun Run conducted a data collection led by E-Safiri Charging Limited, speaking with 179 motorists and retailers to better understand the uptake of e-mobility within Mbita town and Kiumba Beach. E-Safiri also signed an MOU with the Kiumba Beach Management Unit and the Awuoth Widows and Orphans Community Based Organization (CBO). The partnership will provide cold storage solutions for the fish vendors and a suite of e-mobility transport and cold storage solutions for the women. A new lease agreement with the Awuoth Widows and Orphans CBO will also lead to the setup of a second charging hub in the area.
